Dr Naveen Sanchety completed his graduation from a famous university in Haryana. He did his research work on "Role of gastrograffin in Small Bowel obstruction", under the guidance of Maj. Gen. (Dr) P K Patnaik.
Dr Sanchety did research on "Role of PETCT in carcinoma breast", under the guidance of Maj. Gen. Manomay Ganguly. He is an active member of various associations like IASO (Indian Association of Surgical oncology) and ABSI (Association of Breast Surgeons of India). He is a founding president of YOG (Young Oncology Group of India) and also member of the editorial board of the Asian Journal of Oncology, with numerous articles in both national and international journals, to his name. He is also actively involved in cancer prevention and tobacco cessation campaigns. He has been the scientific advisor to the program "Khojo Cancer Roko Cancer" initiative of Marwari Yuva Manch and has designed a cancer screening bus for screening general public for carcinoma cervix, breast cancer, lung cancer and head & neck malignancies. His special interests lie in head & neck and breast cancer management.
Dr Sanchety is a believer in multi-modality treatment protocols and supports the approach that promotes the best treatment plan for the each and every patient, through deliberate tumor boards.
