  • Dr. Pranav is a skilled radiation oncologist with over 7 years of experience.
  • Dr. Pranav’s expertise lies in the treatment and management of various types of cancer, including CNS malignancies, head and neck cancers, lung cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, genitourinary cancers, gynaecological cancers, sarcomas, as well as benign conditions, such as meningioma and trigeminal neuralgia.
  • With a specialisation in neuro-oncology, Dr. Pranav is skilled in using stereotactic radiation techniques such as SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) and SABR (stereotactic ablative radiotherapy) to precisely target tumours and minimise damage to healthy tissue. He is familiar with craniospinal irradiation for primary or secondary cancers of the brain and spine.
  • In the treatment of breast and lung cancers, Dr. Pranav is knowledgeable in the use of deep inspiration breath-hold (DIBH) techniques. He also has experience administering image-guided brachytherapy.
  • As a clinical observer in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, he has gained extensive experience treating a wide range of cancer patients and benign conditions.

  • AROI 2015 (Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry): paper presentation (Submandibular gland sparing in locally advanced head and neck cancers) - special prize.
  • AROI 2016 (National): poster presentation (Submandibular gland sparing in locally advanced head and neck cancers- impact on radiation-induced xerostomia)
  • ESTRO teaching course certificate for ‘Image-guided brachytherapy in gynaecological malignancies’ at M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru in March 2017.
