Executive Chairman Dr. BS Ajaikumar's Insightful Discussion on Healthcare Expansion at Times Healthcare Conclave 2024
Our Executive Chairman Dr. BS Ajaikumar was part of the Times Healthcare Conclave 2024 held at Bengaluru. Dr. Ajai represented the panel among other industry leaders discussing on the 'Nuances of Expansion: Whether to stick to super specialty or go multispecialty'.
Dr. Ajai in his discussion recalled his journey from being exposed to the nuances of cancer care in in the US to what was practiced in India. "In the early 2000s, there was cobalt therapy being used in India, causing more damage to the normal tissue. And I failed to fathom the concept of a poor country and inferior treatment. The saying was the treatment is more harmful than the disease and it posed a challenge to me".
