Ease lockdown, let other critical patients get treatment: Hospitals

Hospitals in several states have requested the local governments to ease lockdown measures for patients of critical ailments like cancer, who had to postpone their treatments for the past one month as India battled the Covid-19 crisis. Hospitals had shut their outpatient services and deferred elective surgeries amid concerns over the spread of the coronavirus infection in healthcare facilities and among healthcare workers.
