  • Dr. Ajay Mehta, one of Nagpur's senior surgical oncologists, has rich experience of over 34 years in oncosurgery.              He has a special interest in the study and treatment of breast cancers.
  • Dr. Mehta has handled more than 50,000 cases so far. 

Research & Publications

  • Dr. Mehta has authored 2 books on breast cancer and co-authored a number of research papers that are published in peer-reviewed journals.  

Medical Breakthrough

  • Dr. Mehta is a recipient of the International Cancer Technology Transfer Award (Geneva, 1990 & 1994) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
  • He successfully organised two editions of the International Cancer Congress and is actively involved in international multicentric clinical trials.
  • Dr. Mehta has more than 70 Phase I-IV trials to his credit and has presented papers at various national and international conferences.
  • He is a member of various reputed associations, such as the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS), Indian Society of Oncology (ISOL), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and Indian Breast Group.er-reviewed journals.
