Dr. Milind Shetti

Dr. Milind Shetti’s primary interests are head and neck oncology followed by breast, gastrointestinal and gynaecological malignancies.

He specialises in the following areas:

Individual planning (manual & CT) and treating of patients under cobalt-60 as well as different linear accelerators like Siemen’s, ELEKTA, VARIAN, etc. 

Contouring for all conformal (3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT,SRS, SRT, SBRT) RT procedures as well as brachytherapy (ISBT & ICBT).

Performing ICBT procedures and taking care of patients till discharge.

Writing chemotherapy orders as well as managing patients post-chemotherapy.

Teaching juniors the basics of radiotherapy as well as contouring in TPS.

Dr. Milind's secondary interests are brachytherapy & stereotactic radiotherapy.

He also has a hold on chemotherapy drugs and their administration to patients.

Dr. Milind has handled over 6000 cases so far. 

Selected for best paper presentations in AROICON 2012, 14, 15, 16 and ICC 2013.

Presented various talks in IMA and various oncological bodies.

Participated as panelist in national conferences.

Joint secretary of AROI -K chapter and organising committee of AROICON 2024.
