Dr. Puranik has performed over 2500 surgeries and his expertise lies in various facets of reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries.
He has vast experience in reconstructive microvascular surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, head and neck reconstruction, limb salvage surgeries, facial aesthetic surgery, craniofacial surgery and hand surgery.

He had been a UICC ICRETT fellow at Broomfield hospital, UK and visiting fellow at CMUH, Taiwan.
He is an invited faculty at various national conference.
Dr. Puranik is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, Association of Breast Surgeons of India and Indian Medical Association (IMA).
