  • She has special expertise in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumours of the mouth, throat (pharynx), voice box (larynx), thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, sinuses and skin cancer of the head and neck area.       
  • Dr. Purvi Patel is also an expert in speech and swallowing rehabilitation.

  • Dr. Purvi has completed her fellowship in Clinical Research in Head & Neck Services from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York.            

  • She has also received her fellowship training in surgical oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad.   

  • Dr. Purvi has completed her Global Online Fellowship for head and neck oncology, by IFHNOS (International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies)   

  • She has been invited as a faculty in many regional, national, and international meetings/conferences.

  • She has special interest in cancer awareness amongst young children especially for tobacco related health issues.

  • She has conducted more than 50 CME programs in Gujarat.
