Dr. Rajendra Toprani is the chief of head and neck surgical oncology at HCG Aastha Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad. He has expertise in treating oral and laryngeal cancers, thyroid and parotid tumours and is an expert in performing voice preserving laryngectomies and Transoral Endoscopic Laser Surgery (TOLS) as well as minimally invasive robotic surgeries. Dr. Rajendra has attended over 1500 cases annually and has advanced training from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC), New York, USA, Endoscopic Laser Surgery from a reputed institute in Kiel, Germany, and Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) under Prof. Weinstein of UPENN, Philadelphia.
Dr. Rajendra completed his advanced training in Head & Neck Oncology from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC), New York, USA in 1996.
He has also received training in Endoscopic Laser Surgery from a reputed institute in Kiel, Germany, in 2009.
Dr. Rajendra received training for Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) at UPENN, Philadelphia in 2016.
