Dr. Amarnadh is an experienced haematologist and BMT specialist. He is well-trained in the comprehensive management of paediatric and adult haematological and oncological disorders. His expertise extends to the management of thrombophilia disorders, management of haematological disorders in cardiac OTs and cardiac ICUs. He is certified in National Cardiac Life Support (affiliated to American Heart Association). He combines the latest evidence-based treatments with a compassionate approach to ensure that patients are well-informed and receive the best possible care.

Dr. Amarnadh is well-trained in the management of various benign and malignant haematological and oncological disorders. His expertise also lies in the comprehensive management of paediatric and adult haematology/oncology patients in OPD, wards and intensive care setups.

He is also specially trained in the management of thrombophilia disorders, management of haematological disorders in cardiac OTs and cardiac ICUs.

Dr. Amarnadh is experienced in performing the following procedures:
Trained to perform procedures like peripheral IV cannulation, central line (Jugular, Subclavian and femoral) insertions, (peripherally inserted central cannula) PICC lines and insertion of Dialysis (Haemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis) catheters.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation – adult and paediatric.
ABG, endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation.
Lumbar punctures, intrathecal administration of chemotherapy.
Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, Bone marrow harvest, Sternal Puncture.
Management of Sickle Crises, Exchange transfusion.
Performed emergency and elective pleural fluid tapping

Dr. Amarnadh has managed more than 500 paediatric and adult bone marrow transplants patients – which includes both autologous and allogeneic transplants along with matched, unrelated and haploidentical transplants with and without T cell depletion.

He has a special interest in platelet and coagulation disorders and clinical research in haematology.

He has attended and presented his papers at numerous conferences, workshops and CME.

Dr. Amarnadh has received an abstract award from the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HAEMATOLOGY in the year 2019.

He has secured 2nd Prize at the CIIHO National DM/DNB Haematology Super Speciality Quiz at Nagpur in 2019.

He was recognised as the best speaker at the 4th YHOP conference, Lucknow in September 2019

His oral presentation was recognised and honoured at the 1st international cardiac ECG conference held at Mangalore.

He has presented a poster at HEMATOCON 2018 on ‘Granulocytic Sarcoma Mimicking Carcinoma Pancreas: A Rare Presentation of Carcinoma Pancreas.’

He has made numerous case and paper presentations at multiple CME’s, neurology, medicine and haematology meets in Mangalore and Bengaluru during residency.
