Introduction

Dr. Ashwin Giridhar is an experienced Uro-Oncologist whose clinical work spans the full breadth of urological surgery, from kidney and bladder cancers to prostate disease, testicular, penile tumors, and renal transplantation. He completed his MBBS, followed by postgraduate degrees in General Surgery and Urology. He then pursued a Fellowship in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad. 

 

Dr. Giridhar is a certified console surgeon for both the da Vinci Surgical System and the HUGO RAS (Medtronic) robotic platform. He has performed over 65 robotic procedures independently and assisted in more than 200 cases. His experience in renal transplantation is equally substantial: he has been involved in over 85 transplant cases and has independently performed more than 40 laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. 

 

Before HCG, Dr. Ashwin Giridhar was associated with Cytecare Hospital (Bangalore), CARE Hospitals (Hyderabad), Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (Hyderabad), Matha Hospital (Kottayam), and KIMS Hospital (Kottayam).
