  • Dr. Devendra’s expertise lies in performing esophageal and GE junction cancers along with colorectal cancer surgeries.            
  •  He is also experienced in performing minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.              
  • Dr. Devendra has attended over 2500 cases so far.

  •  Adaptations and safety modifications to perform safe minimal access surgery (MIS: laparoscopy and robotic) during the covid-19 pandemic: practice modifications expert panel consensus guidelines from academia of minimal access surgical oncology (AMASO). (2020).
  • Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology, 1-11.

  • Dr. Devendra is a member of the Gujarat Medical Council & Medical Council of India, The Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Clinical Robotic Surgery Association and the Indian Society of Esophagus & Stomach (ISES).
  • He also serves as a national proctor for robotic esophagectomy (KOL).

  • Dr. Devendra has completed his fellowship in thoracic & esophageal surgical oncology from National Cancer Centre, Tokyo, Japan.            
  •  He has completed his observership in Minimal Invasive Foregut Surgical Oncology at UPMC from Pittsburgh, USA He has also completed his robotic surgery training from a reputed institute in Sunnyvale, CA, USA.
