●       Dr. Sunil Kumar is a senior consultant and the head of the anesthesiology and pain management department at HCG Cancer Centre, a leading cancer hospital in Bengaluru.

●       Dr. Sunil specializes in administering anesthesia for intricate cancer surgeries, especially those involving the head, neck, thorax, and abdomen.

●       In addition, Dr. Sunil is one of the leading consultants with expertise in liver transplant anesthesia.

●       He has a special interest in the areas of regional anesthesia, liver transplantation, and neuromonitoring, all of which pique his interest.

●       Every year, Sunil oversees more than 300 high-risk cases, guaranteeing patient safety and enhancing surgical results.

●       Beyond his clinical responsibilities, he trains medical residents in pain management, anesthesia procedures, and operating room crisis management.

●       Sunil was instrumental in introducing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols at HCG Cancer Centre, significantly improving recovery times and patient satisfaction.
