Dr. Partha Sen is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant in Radiation Oncology with expertise in clinical oncology, advanced radiotherapy techniques, systemic oncology therapies, and oncology department development. He obtained his MBBS and MD (Radiotherapy) from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Later, he completed a two-year clinical fellowship at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. He also holds the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Certificate in Medical Oncology.
Dr. Sen’s diverse professional background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (Maharashtra) and as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Bhutan's apex referral center, the Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital. In Bhutan, he played a key role in establishing a new Radiotherapy Department, overseeing machine installations, developing clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting infrastructure development for the National Cancer Registry and cancer screening programs.
Before joining HCG, Dr. Sen was associated with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital (Pancha Sayar, Kolkata) and Belle Vue Clinic (Kolkata). Dr. Sen combines advanced radiotherapy techniques with systemic management of solid tumors to deliver evidence-based and patient-centric cancer care.
