Introduction

Dr. Pramod Chinder is a highly experienced orthopaedic oncologist with a focus on biological and functional tumour reconstruction of musculoskeletal tumours. He is trained in the latest imaging modalities and specialises in joint and growth preserving tumour surgery, allografts, non-invasive expandable prostheses and hand and peripheral nerve tumours. His approach to patient care is to provide the best evidence-based treatments and deliver customised care plans tailored to each individual patient.

Dr. Pramod serves as the Director & Head - Orthopaedic Oncology at HCG Cancer Centre.
Dr. Pramod specialises in biological and functional tumour reconstruction of musculoskeletal tumours using microsurgical techniques and modern prostheses.
His other interests include joint & growth preserving tumour surgery using the latest imaging modalities (e.g., 3T MRI, 3D CT), allografts & non-invasive expandable prostheses.
He also specialises in hand and peripheral nerve tumours, which require microsurgical reconstructions and neurotisation.

Medical Breakthrough

Dr. Pramod started the musculoskeletal oncology program in 2010. Since then, the department has addressed over 700 sarcoma cases and 1000+ metastatic bone cancer cases.
He is a reputed member of various national and international orthopaedic associations.

Awards & Accolades

Dr. Pramod has completed his fellowship training in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery from the National University of Singapore.
He has also received fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology from Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli.
