· Dr. Sandeep Kumar is a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Oncologist currently serving as a Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology at HCG Cancer Center, Ranchi. He holds an MBBS from Patliputra Medical College, Dhanbad (Vinoba Bhave University). He later completed an MS in General Surgery from Burdwan Medical College, West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Dr. Kumar also pursued an MCh in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS–BHU).

· With over 7 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kumar has worked across reputed hospitals in Delhi, Kolkata, and Ranchi. He has served as a senior resident in General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology, and later as a consultant in leading cancer care centres. His key areas of expertise include hepatopancreatic biliary and gallbladder cancers, as well as breast and gynaecological malignancies. He also specialises in thoracic, stomach, and colorectal cancers, along with soft tissue sarcomas and head and neck cancers. Dr. Kumar is known for delivering advanced, evidence-based surgical care with a strong patient-first approach.

· Dr. Kumar is also actively involved in research and academic contributions. His postgraduate thesis focused on blunt abdominal trauma in rural tertiary care settings. Dr. Kumar also completed an MCh thesis investigating treatment response factors in uterine cervical carcinoma undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. He has published multiple research papers and rare case reports in reputed indexed journals. These include the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, Hellenic Journal of Surgery, International Surgery Journal, and Indian Journal of Surgery. His contributions to the field were recognised with the prestigious IASO Travelling Fellowship.

· Fluent in English and Hindi, Dr. Kumar is known for his compassionate patient interactions and strong diagnostic acumen. He is registered with the Jharkhand Medical Council and is a Life Member of the Association of Surgeons of India.
