●       Dr. Appala has attended several national-level conferences to present his groundbreaking research and received the following recognitions:

⮚      Recognized for 2nd best paper presentation at the State Diabetic Conference (2012).

⮚      Presented a poster on “Prognostications of Heart Failure in Type II Diabetes” at the State Diabetic Conference (2011).

⮚      Presented a poster on “Restrictive Cardiomyopathy” at MERT, Bangalore (2011).

●       In one of his previous roles, Dr. Appala independently set up a new chemotherapy ward at the hospital, which demonstrates his leadership and excellence in the field of medical oncology.

●       To make cancer care accessible to patients from all walks of life, he has conducted several health and cancer awareness camps.
