Today, almost any therapy in healthcare calls for constant clinical progression, adoption of the latest technology, and recruitment and retention of the best-of-breed specialists, doctors, nurses, and support staff. Take the case of cancer. What was once known as a killer disease is today fast becoming a chronic disease, thanks only to the phenomenal transformation in the way we stage cancer, adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer care, make use of genomics and molecular diagnostics, and strive to provide the right treatment the first time.
