Dr. Brindha is the group head of psycho-oncology at HCG Cancer Centre.
Dr. Brindha’s primary area of interest is adult & paediatric psychology and her secondary area of interest is preventive psycho-oncology.

Dr. Brindha is the founder-Director of the Centre of Psycho-Oncology for Education & Research (COPER), Bengaluru.
Dr. Brindha has authored Not Out: Winning the Game of Cancer, for which she received the Shresta Vaidyakiya Lekhana Prashasthi by Dr. P. S. Shankar Prathishtana, Gulbarga.
She has also received the “Vocational Excellence Award for outstanding contribution and singular efforts in the field of Psycho-oncology” by Rotary Dist 3190 and Rotary Bengaluru East, Bengaluru.

She is the recipient of multiple fellowships from prestigious institutions such as the National Cancer Institute, USA and the UICC, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre and St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.
