Dr. Mohak Mankad is a seasoned surgical oncologist who specializes in treating and managing gastrointestinal cancers and thoracic cancers. He is a Da Vinci-certified Robotic Surgeon with sub-specialty expertise in the surgical management of Gastrointestinal (GI), Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder), Colo-Rectal, Peritoneal Surface, and Thoracic malignancies.
He completed his MCh in Surgical Oncology, followed by a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive & Robotic GI, Colorectal and Peritoneal Surface Malignancy at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has visited globally renowned institutions, including the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, and Asan Medical Centre, Seoul (South Korea), for advanced training and exposure in surgical oncology. He has additionally been trained in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary surgeries through a refresher course under the aegis of the Indian Society of Hepatico-Pancreatico-Biliary Association.
Dr. Mankad is known for his expertise in managing complex cancer cases using a multidisciplinary approach, with a strong commitment to advancing cancer care through evidence-based surgical oncology. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also an avid clinical researcher, with multiple national publications and scientific presentations at major international and national oncology conferences.
