Introduction

Dr. Adarsh Hegde believes in pain free and comfortable treatment with minimal intervention, thereby focussing on the quality of life of cancer patients while striving to achieve complete cure. Having completed his MD from JIPMER - Pondicherry ( Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research) an Institute of national importance, he went on to gain further experience at the esteemed Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI - Lucknow). He specializes in both Linear accelerators and Cobalt - 60 based Radiation delivery systems and has had training with IGRT, VMAT, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, SRT, Electron beam therapy, Brachytherapy, 3DCRT and Conventional 2D Planning.

• He has been regularly treating patients with cancers of Cervix, Endometrium, Esophagus, Rectum, Head and neck tumours, Lung, Brain tumours, Sarcoma and Lymphomas

• Dr. Adarsh also takes special interest in Non oncological applications of Radiation
