Introduction

Dr. Metta Jayachandra Reddy is an accomplished Surgical Oncologist with extensive expertise in the surgical management of a wide spectrum of solid organ cancers. He holds MBBS, MS (General Surgery), DNB (General Surgery), and MCh (Surgical Oncology) qualifications and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the International College of Surgeons (FICS). He is also a Fellow of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (FMAS) and holds the MNAMS distinction from the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He was recognized as the Young Surgeon of India in 2023 and received the Vyaghreswarudu Best Surgeon of Andhra Pradesh State Award in 2021.

Before his current role with HCG, Dr. Reddy was affiliated with SVIMS (Tirupati) and CARE Hospitals (Visakhapatnam), where he independently performed complex oncologic procedures for head & neck, breast, gastrointestinal, hepato-pancreato-biliary, genitourinary, and soft tissue malignancies. He also actively participated in multidisciplinary tumor boards, academic research, and postgraduate training.

Dr. Reddy combines advanced oncologic surgical techniques with a strong commitment to patient-centric care, multidisciplinary treatment planning, cancer screening, and survivorship programs.
